        THE FRAN DOWIE VAUDEVILLIAN BURSARY

We are pleased to announce that the Bursary presently stands at $7300.

There will be 2 shows in April, the income from the shows will further enhance the fund. For 2008 The Vaudevillians will present the winner a cheque for $250 to be used to further their education, in subsequent years interest earned on the fund will be awarded annually.

We would like to thank the Arts Council of Surrey, and the Youth Arts Council of Surrey for their dedication and assistance in making this an exciting new avenue to assist young students in Surrey.

THE SOCIETY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF VAUDEVILLE PERFORMING ARTS BURSARY

AT DOUGLAS COLLEGE

Rehearsals have now begun for the 5th Annual performances.  The new show promises to be bigger and better than before. "New numbers, new costumes and the same old people". The Vaudevillians take great pride in our accomplishments in this, our first Bursary and plan to continue increasing the fund through annual performances.  In 2007 we presented 3 students cheques for $900 each.
 

We will be pleased to have any donations added to this fund. Cheques should be made out to The Vaudevillians, mailed to, 3055 144th St. Surrey, B.C. V4P 1R2 A tax receipt will be mailed upon receipt of cheque. Please make a notation "The Vaudevillians Bursary Fund"
